- One reason why I'm a feminist:
- Because I was raised in a community that praised my achievements and accomplishments and I want that for all women.
- About Me:
- I'm a grad student at the Univ of Maryland. In May 2009, if all goes well, I'll become Dr. Janet, AuD (Doctor of Audiology). I have a sweet cat, Mike, and live in a nice little house just outside of DC. I co-founded Nice Shoes with Wendy Woodward in 1992 and wish I were just a bit closer so I could drop in on you guys every once in a while.
- If you were a shoe, which kind would you be?
- SO hard to decide! There are times when I'd like to be a really sexy stiletto, but will have to work on that one. Running shoes maybe cause you can go forever in them. But when it comes down to it, I'm in love with my black Danskos. They're comfortable, stylish (enough) and can go just about anywhere.
