- One reason why I'm a feminist:
- For all women to experience justice and equality globally. Having lived in places where women are subjected to beatings and death for nothing more than being alive is a prime motivator for me.
- About Me:
- I am a close friend of Bridgette Allingam, a member of Nice Shoes. I met her when she and her family were living in Lusaka, Zambia. I was teaching at the school where a very young Bridgette attended first and second grade (ask to see her adorable photos).
Presently, I live in San Diego, California, where I have the good fortune of seeing Bridgette every summer. Yeah!
I also lived in Massachusetts for twenty some years. I introduced Bridgette to Mt. Holyoke College and was with her when she arrived there as a freshman.
- If you were a shoe, which kind would you be?
- an easily removable shoe of any kind - sandal or flip flop.
I prefer to be barefooted whenever possible.
